Import (File Menu)

Magikey Family Tree will read any GEDCOM file.  The import option will MERGE a database into an existing opened database. The following options allow you to specify which file to import:

File Name

Type or select the filename you want to import. This box lists files with the extension you select in the List Files of Type box.

Files of Type

Select the type of file you want to import. Only GEDCOM files are supported at this time.

Look in

Select the directory in which MagiKey Family Tree stores the file that you want to import.
