What is a Subset?
A SUBSET is a smaller more
limited section of your larger database.
Use this tool to locate the
individuals you want to place in your subset. Because MagiKey Family Tree
supports multiple subsets, each
subset must be named.
Create Data Subset window
There are multiple options in the Create Data Subset window including, Add Descendants, Add Ancestors, or Add only this
Individual.
When do I use the Subset I have just created?
- To Export (File Menu) a subset
to a GEDCOM file.
- Some reports
give the option to choose a Subset.
- Create a subset of the family you want to run through the Latter-day Saints
Ordinance Reservation Wizard.
