What is the Pedigree View?
It is an interactive viewer that shows all linked information relevant to
the individual at the Head of Pedigree. This
is the main view for navigating through the database, and selecting
individuals for further informational views to open.
How do I Navigate in the Pedigree View?
Double-clicking on a name will open an
Individual Information View.
Double-clicking on a blank box will add a linked individual
to that box.
Right-clicking on
a individual will bring up a shortcut of options and relationships for
that individual.
Navigate Menu lets you add favorites, go to next
sibling or spouse, go to previous head of pedigree, etc
Why is the Pedigree View helpful?
- Looking at information in the Pedigree View in addition to Family Group Sheet and the Individual Views allows for flexibility and better analysis of
data.
