What is the Descendancy Chart?
This view provides a visual representation of the descendancy information (name, birth, and death year) starting with the Active Individual. This is more commonly called a wall chart. This is the only view that can be printed from the view using the print icon on the toolbar.
Why is the Descendancy Chart helpful?
- To preview all descendants of a particular ancestor before publishing a report.
- Used for showing extended family such as grandchildren or cousins.
How do I print my wall chart?
You can print your Descendancy chart
by clicking the printer icon
on the toolbar. Each page printed
will have a slight overlap to allow you to assemble the pages
into a large wall chart.
You can also create a Descendancy Report, which will open in your default
browser to print.
