Virginia Majeske has been interested in genealogy and family history work for more than 37 years. Virginia Majeske worked to help create the first Family History Library in Adrian, Michigan and has been a volunteer Family History Consultant for many years. Virginia is currently researching and writing the history of John Raymond and Thelma Fleek, and plans on publishing a book. Virginia has used many products and tools while working on her genealogy. She has searched many censuses, looked at land records, ordered birth, death and marriage records, and searches the many available online sources as she researches her family.
Kaylene Majeske Thaler is the other co-owner and operator of The MagiKey. Kaylene is a graduate of Brigham Young University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics. After graduating, she got a job as a computer programmer for Vector Research doing database programming. Since she left the work force to begin raising a family, Kaylene has been a volunteer developer of MagiCensus and MagiTree. Kaylene and her husband Dave donated their spare time and talents to the development of MagiKey products to create a genealogy program made by a genealogist for genealogists. Kaylene has been a volunteer Family History Consultant, and has taught genealogy classes on Using U.S. Land Records to do Genealogy Research in the early 1800s at the Family History Expo in Redmond and Bellevue Washington.
Raelyn Majeske Davis is the third co-owner of The MagiKey. Raelyn graduated from The University of Michigan, College of Engineering with a Bachelors in Atmospheric, Oceanic, and Space Science. Since graduating she has helped to run Micro Basics, her husbands' Embedded Design/Computer consulting company, and has also done her own consulting through Creative Memories and Dove Chocolate Home Discoveries while raising their seven children in Ypsilanti, Michigan. Although she has just started on her own genealogy experience, she has helped her mom with research and making Family History Photo Albums.
